Remember that storm? The one where it was like snow and slush? Well that morning I woke up got ready, went out to my back door to go to my garage, and this is what I saw!
Basically, the snow was so heavy that it broke a bunch of tree limbs in our back yard, one of which is resting on a power line. We called the city to get them to come out and take care of it last Monday, but are STILL waiting. Boo
The good news is, I totally hate this tree, and am glad to see it go, even if its just limb by limb
This piece is the one that is over the power line. My car scrapes past it every morning.
This is where the first branch broke off.
Anyway this is sort of a catch up blog post because I uploaded a bunch of pictures from my camera, and forgot about this...
Celeste/Zoe update:
As you can see they are getting a long pretty well now.
Zoe didn't realize at the time that it was Celeste behind her on this couch and not a blanket. But you give someone a blanket, no matter who it is, and Zoe is their best friend. But even still this is good progress.
Celeste is getting a long great with our family and making a ton of progress, she is a very obedient dog and has worked really hard to become house trained, and follow Zoe's lead. She has made so much progress that a few weeks ago we were able to let her stay out of her Kennel all day while we were at work. This was a huge relief for both of us, because we felt bad that such a big dog was confined to such a small space. Since then she has seemed a lot more relaxed in our home. So we are pleased with this progress. She is such sweet dog, and we are happy to have her a part of our family.

I'm glad you guys adopted Celeste.
She reminds me of the dobermans of my youth. Big, a little bit dopey, and lovable.
we lost a huge branch in a storm this winter too. it would still be there if our neighbor hadn't chipped it up for us. ;0) we're lazy.
I keep wondering how the dogs will like the new baby?
