Yesterday after I was done eating lunch I stood up to put my dishes in the sink, and got really dizzy. So I laid down for a bit. Then when I felt like I was doing ok and that the world stopped spinning I stood up then everything went black and I passed out, luckily I was able to collapse on my bed before I blacked completely out. Kinda scary but my sister says its normal in the 2nd trimester because your blood pressure is all over the place trying to adjust to all the blood pumping through your body. I am just lucky I was by my bed and not somewhere where I could have hit my head or gotten hurt.

i've been there.
Me too. It's always scary, for sure. Glad you're okay.
Wow, what a scary feeling. One thing that may help is keeping hydrated. Try to keep lots of water. If you are dehydrated your body is more sensitive to orthostatic changes.
HA! I know exactly how you felt! It brings me back.... You should mention it at your next apt. and they'll check to make sure you aren't anemic. But everything I read was saying to drink more water too, just in case. I hope it doesn't happen again, it really is a scary feeling!

That's scary! Is your red blood count normal?
I hear you on the weather! Maggie's teacher calls it Sprinter!
I am so glad you are okay! I didn't really experience blackouts, but I did get kinda dizzy sometimes. Again, I am glad you were by the bed. I am so excited to find out what you are having...oh man, your kid is going to be too cute!
