Latest Endeavor

This is something I have been wanting to do for awhile now. Ever since I became pregnant, I have been thinking up designs to put on clothing for our little on. I think it has something to do with the fact that all day everyday of my life is consumed with clothing/T-shirt design. But I recently made a couple of Onsies for my friend Jess for her baby shower. I really liked making them and people have been asking me to make them for them, so I decided to run with it and start a little side project company! Here are some of the Onesies I made! I will be posting new designs on here in the coming weeks!

This is the one I am making for our little guy, it is not finished yet, so stay tuned, cause it's gonna be good!

The sky is falling!

Remember that storm? The one where it was like snow and slush? Well that morning I woke up got ready, went out to my back door to go to my garage, and this is what I saw!

Basically, the snow was so heavy that it broke a bunch of tree limbs in our back yard, one of which is resting on a power line. We called the city to get them to come out and take care of it last Monday, but are STILL waiting. Boo

The good news is, I totally hate this tree, and am glad to see it go, even if its just limb by limb

This piece is the one that is over the power line. My car scrapes past it every morning.
This is another tree, across the yard the had a branch snap off.

This is where the first branch broke off.

Anyway this is sort of a catch up blog post because I uploaded a bunch of pictures from my camera, and forgot about this...

Celeste/Zoe update:
As you can see they are getting a long pretty well now.

Zoe didn't realize at the time that it was Celeste behind her on this couch and not a blanket. But you give someone a blanket, no matter who it is, and Zoe is their best friend. But even still this is good progress.

Celeste is getting a long great with our family and making a ton of progress, she is a very obedient dog and has worked really hard to become house trained, and follow Zoe's lead. She has made so much progress that a few weeks ago we were able to let her stay out of her Kennel all day while we were at work. This was a huge relief for both of us, because we felt bad that such a big dog was confined to such a small space. Since then she has seemed a lot more relaxed in our home. So we are pleased with this progress. She is such sweet dog, and we are happy to have her a part of our family.

They say a mothers instinct is always right, and I sooo was right! We are having a BOY! We went in and had an ultrasound two weeks ago, got some really good views of his... you know what, and then procrastinated posting it because I was thinking I would just wait until we got some pictures to do so, but I am just too excited. We are really excited and cant wait to post pictures from the next one so you can all see.

HANDS OFF!

I totally get it now. 5 people came up to me yesterday to rub my belly! One lady came up and attempted and I think my deer in head light expression of complete mortification scared her away. The thing is I am just barely showing. I mean I have felt like I have been showing for sometime now, but no one else seems to think so, until now. How do I ward off these unwanted approaches?

We will call him wiggles for now

"Wiggles" is moving and I can feel it! At first it was subtle and I questioned it. (It's probably just gas?) But each night around the same time, and also at work during the day, I will feel little tiny pops, like bubbles are popping in my tummy, or popcorn popping is a good way to describe it (I don't get the "fish bowl" feeling yet, but maybe that is to come later?) Even though it is not very strong, its still a really cool feeling. I look forward to it each night, it is so exciting. But this is my question if any of you folks know, how early does you baby hear? Because I swear our "Wiggles" moves like crazy when I am in my car and the radio is on. My next question for all you moms is, can you remember when you started to feel these movements? I am almost 15 weeks, but I started to feel it right at 14 weeks.

Blackout

Yesterday after I was done eating lunch I stood up to put my dishes in the sink, and got really dizzy. So I laid down for a bit. Then when I felt like I was doing ok and that the world stopped spinning I stood up then everything went black and I passed out, luckily I was able to collapse on my bed before I blacked completely out. Kinda scary but my sister says its normal in the 2nd trimester because your blood pressure is all over the place trying to adjust to all the blood pumping through your body. I am just lucky I was by my bed and not somewhere where I could have hit my head or gotten hurt.
