Today Axel learned that he can turn around in the shopping cart and it is a much more interesting view.
He also decided today that slithering on his belly, is not nearly as comfortable as it is on your bum. ( I am extra happy about this because I am tired of lint rolling his entire tummy)
I guess it's go go go from now on...

Dragging his butt on the ground is another trick he learned from the dogs.
I can't believe he's that big already!
go axel!! not he can keep up with story! :)
Ah, look how proud he is of himself! He's going to be pulling himself up soon...and then any freedom you may have had is now over. However, with all the other kids you watch, you're used to it. So you can just focus on the fun part. ;)
That's great! Are those new cabinets I spy in the background? They look really good!
Good Job Axel!!
I love the turn around shopping cart shot. Genius!
Oh, btw, I was reading your comment on my blog today on my Blackberry. I was at the gym and had to pee. I was so interested in my phone that I failed to realize I was walking into the men's locker room rather then the womens. It was pretty awesome. Or not awesome at all. Whichever.
My father in law calls that the TRI POD. I love it.
I can't imagine what it would feel like to be trying to figure out how to get around again. It must be SO liberating to not have to SCREAM to get where you want. I love this stage, don't you? Isn't it amazing that our babies aren't so BABY anymore?!
