Ear infection

I am sick in bed today with a cotton ball in my ear, because I suffering from my first ear infection. I never have had an ear infection in my life until now. I have had little aches here and there, but NEVER has it hurt so bad. I was up all night with sharp pains in my ear. This morning I put garlic oil in my ear, and shoved a cotton ball in it. I am not sure if i put the right amount in or not.

I'm with Kassie. I used to have them DAILY. I'm surprised you haven't with all your swimming. They do suck though. I have the beginnings of one right now and a head cold. It's awesome. Enjoy!

I haven't had any since I was about 8.

But they still haunt me.

Just those weird tickles where it feels like its somewhere between your tongue and your ear drive me nuts... I feel for you.

Thanks all for your concern! What are blogs for if they are not for wallowing in our own misery? In case you are wondering, the garlic trick worked great! After a day of laying on one side, and then the next when it changed ears, it went away the next morning. I am now on day two and it is still looking good.

Darcie, haha that is what Kory said, only he meant it about him because he gets them all the time. :)

So my cousin used to put garlic in her little boy's ear when he'd get sick, and he always smelled like a pot roast. I always got so hungry when I nannyed him....

Rainy, that kinda makes me want to fro up a little. Yeah I could smell garlic all day, but hey if it gets rid of the pain its totally worth it.
