Looking for things to do in December...

I was asked to help out with this months enrichment, and I am needing some help. I am to make up a list of things for families to do in December, so if anyone has any ideas or websites I can look at, that would be much appreciated! Fun traditions, or things going on locally, I am pretty much looking for anything really, this is not really my forte.

Thanks any suggestions are GREAT suggestions!

that's a tough one. What type of stuff are you looking for? Family activities? what about sledding and hot chocolate? i don't really get the question, my brain is super foggy.

I always liked the progressive dinners at Christmas time for Enrichment. I know it's not a new idea but I love going from house to house and seeing everyone's Christmas decor. BTW I love your blog background.

Like events around Utah valley, concerts, activites I guess... things families can do for free or for cheap.

There's always free concerts at the Tabernacle. Mike's train. Sledding. I'd much rather stay at home so I don't know.

Amy...your Halloween costumes turned out soooo good! You are such a good craftster.

I have seriously thought about this. But I'm clueless. I think about what our family does, and it's just the occasional bake something, then game night. Other than that, we just aren't that exciting. Especially now.

When we were little and all lived at home we did secret santa's but it wasn't just the one gift on Christmas. We would leave little gifts all month long on their bed or in there backpack. It was so fun to be secretive all month and surprise them on the 25th. We also traded stockings with each other. Every year we would get a different sibling and we would plan things to stuff in their stocking. Those were fun ways to get excited for Christmas all month long in my family. Good luck! You are so creative I know you will figure out a ton of great things!
